Stomp! Out Loud comes to Columbus

by Marie Esselstein

On my recent vacation to Las Vegas I saw this production at the Planet Hollywood Hotel & Casino (formerly The Alladin) and now it has come to Columbus! It was a welcome change from all the clowns and showgirls which have become the regular Las Vegas offering. Of all the shows I have seen out there this is one of the two very best (the other being Mystere, the Cirque show at Treasure Island).

If you have the opportunity to go, it is worth every dime of the ticket price. For a teaser, please enjoy this video which shows only a tiny sampling of the show. In Vegas, this sequence was the show opener. Enjoy!

Presented by CAPA
March 25-30 2008
Ohio Theatre
39 E. State St.
Tuesday-Friday 8 p.m. Saturday 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. Sunday 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
$17.80-54.50
614-469-0939

I do suggest that if you have severe allergies you sit back a little from the main stage, as all that sweeping, stomping and dancing kicks up quite a bit of dust.
