What to do this Weekend in Columbus
This weekend in and around Columbus you could:

Take in the last practices and performances at Ballet Met, where the 30×30 event showcases the artistic process of creating a ballet from start to finish. You can watch open rehearsals at midday, then take in the final product in the evening.
BalletMet: 30×30: The Showcases
BalletMet Performance Space
322 Mount Vernon Ave., Columbus
See a classic at the Ohio Theater~

Friday, the CAPA summer movie series is offering 12 Angry Men. Considered one of Henry Fonda’s best, this dark tale centers on a murder trial and the 12 men who hold the accused’s life in their hands.
On the lighter side, Saturday and Sunday bring Tootsie. Dustin Hoffman stars in this tale of an out of work actor who becomes daytime drama’s most popular leading lady.

For a classic of a different kind, head east to the MOPAR Nationals being held at National Trail Raceway. MOPAR is a great event for Columbus. If you happen to be visiting the Brice Rd. area and can’t seem to figure out why people are lined up like the 4th. of July parade is about to begin, it’s because Brice Rd. is where Chrysler Co. auto owners and fans make their annual pilgrimage. If you like Chrysler products, stick around. You are likely to see a Super Bee, Barracuda and a half dozen General Lee replicas.
