Or for something really special, grab your “best friend” and head over to West Jefferson for the WAG! festival in the Prarie Oaks Metro Park. Described as “a dog friendly festival. The only truly dog-centric event of it’s kind in the area,” the event has dog themed demonstrations, special events and guests all afternoon.
