Where to Remember in Columbus

by Marie Esselstein

Today marks the sixth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks and the first time since it happened that 9/11 falls on a Tuesday, the same day of the week as the attacks occured.

The Statehouse lawn is covered with over 3000 flags, one for each victim of the attack.ohio.jpg

Hilliard christens “First Responder’s Park” today. This park is dedicated to the memory of the police and firefighters that were the first to the scene, and honors all first responders from across the country who do this dangerous and underappreciated job.

That’s all for today. Short and simple and with much reverence. E Pluribus Unum (Out of Many, One)–In God We Trust.
